Lift Access Day Essentials:

Powder Skis or Snowboard.

Ski Poles with powder baskets: For snowboarders, collapsible poles will be required.

Down Jacket

Spare thermals (If you are a sweater a dry layer to change in is essential.)

Facemask/Balaclava - We recommend that you wear or carry a facemask and neck warmer.

Gloves - Please choose warm and well fitting gloves for skiing

Hiking gloves/Glove liners

Goggles - Bring goggles with high light and low light lenses if possible.

Sunglasses: For the hike.

Avalanche safety equipment and minimum 20L backpack: beacon (3 antenna), shovel, probe - Rentals are ¥5,000 per day.

Snacks: We generally stop on the way but it is always good to have some snacks ready to go for the missions.
Backcountry Day Essentials:

Touring Skis, Splitboard or Climbing snowshoes - Skis with touring bindings and skins, or a split board with skins , with a regular snowboard you can also use snowshoes. If you don't have your own these you will need to rent some at least a day before the tour)
