Rock

Hidden among the hills and forest roads of Hokkaido are some of the oldest crags in Japan. From lakeside cliffs to pinnacles soaring out of the sea, the rock climbing on this island is a varied mix of flavors whether you are looking for multipitch trad climbs or hard hammering sport routes. Every crag has routes for first timers to advanced senders.

As with most outdoor spaces in Hokkaido, crags here are uncrowded and visited by friendly locals, always ready to share knowledge and stoke.
